Juvenile Justice Ministry
As you may know, Fresno and Madera counties are the counties with the most significant number of group homes in the state. Group homes are a short-term residential program that requires children to move from the institution to a long-term family within 180 days. This gives us a chance to plant the seed of the Gospel between the time they go from their situation to their new family in the long run.
This particular home is made up of youth from various counties throughout California. The majority of these youth had previously spent time in juvenile halls prior to entering this group home. Some youths come from CPS situations. Though they have criminal records, these youth like any are seeking hope in the midst of a world full of brokenness.
