Health and safety is very important to YFC:
- All YFC mentors are screened through a vigorous background check, interview and training process before engaging with teens.
- YFC staff who engage kids in programming involving water are Water Safety Certified.
- YFC facilities have basic medical equipment available and quick access to EMS.
- The YFC Board has committed to follow all required Federal, State, and Local health guidelines regarding COVID-19.
- Parent permission is required for transporting minors and all special events.
