Jeffrey Graves

Campus Life High School/YFC Core

Jeffrey joined YFC as a volunteer in 2017 at Mclane High School Campus Life and Duncan High School Core. After feeling called to full time ministry, he was hired as the Director of Wise Old Owl Tutoring. Beginning in the Fall of 2018, Jeffrey has transitioned into Campus Life and YFC Core.

Jeffrey grew up in Newport News/Williamsburg Virginia, where he was introduced to God as a child. After high school, he joined the United States Army and served for 13 years, where he experienced extensive trauma. This difficult time was pivotal in his decision to FULLY follow God as a servant of Christ. After his military career, Jeffrey continued his education in business at Thomas Nelson in Virginia. He then moved to California and enrolled in Angelos Biblical Institute, which began his path to ministry. He has felt blessed by the family God has provided in Fresno, as he had to leave his family in Virginia. Jeffrey says: “I was lonely and homeless when I first arrived here in Fresno but God took me out of the wilderness and into the loving arms of Fresno/Madera YFC.”

Now Jeffrey is serving his community and church as an usher, deacon, and youth ministry leader. “In this season of my life, I am truly filled with joy and have never been happier. I am in love with God and the life He has blessed me with. I would have never guessed that volunteering for Youth For Christ would open so many doors that tremendously blessed me and my family. I would recommend any and everyone to get connected with YFC and serve a local church, which has really impacted the lives around me.”
